What Powers New York

NYISO's published fuel mix counts only the in-state wholesale generators. It misses two big pieces of what actually keeps the lights on: the rooftop and community solar that hides as lower demand (about 90% of the state's solar is behind-the-meter), and the power New York imports from Québec, Ontario, and its neighbors (not counted at all). This dashboard adds both back, using NYISO's own published data, to show what New Yorkers really consumed and how clean it really was.
